We believe that one of the best ways to minister to one another and the community is to share the table, by growing, harvesting, and eating food together. In the spirit of this great summer season we are in the process of starting the Canterbury Community Garden, which will serve our Parish as well as those in our community who suffer from hunger or general lack of access to healthy, fresh, nutritious foods. It is our goal to not only educate the community on ways to grow food or ways to prepare locally grown produce, but also to share the harvest of this garden and many others with our Tuesday morning food ministry and provide access to local & healthy produce to families which might not have access otherwise.
