Outreach at Canterbury

Some might call it outreach; others might call it charity or justice work; we call it community engagement because it forces us to look at how we serve our neighbors, particularly those who don't join in our parish community otherwise, and help them meet their material needs. We see this kind of engagement as being the flip side of the same idea of pastoral care for those in the parish. At Canterbury our engagement efforts are focused on a variety of food and material support ministries.
