Living at Canterbury

At Canterbury Episcopal Chapel, we strive to encourage community between our parish, students, and residents. We pride ourselves on a vibrant residential life and community, housing 10 students each semester between two houses, Gribbin House and Murray House. Over the years, residents at Canterbury Chapel have been involved in community projects at the University, Canterbury, and the Tuscaloosa Community at large. Our residents are the best around, and our 2010 group is no different. We are proud to provide a church family & home for these great students to live and thrive.

New Community Garden Project!

Residents of Gribbin house have been working on some upgrades at their home, including adding a new clothesline & screen door to aid in having a more energy efficient summer. While planting new gardens around the ground, residents Lydia Atkins & Lindsey Mullen have begun a garden internship project and hope to work with the University to create a space this summer for our own community garden. Check back here for more info & photos on these great resident projects!
