“Vocare” comes from the Latin word meaning “to call.” Vocare weekend is a renewal weekend for young adults as we find ourselves at a time in our life where we face so many important decisions. Where do I want to go from here? Why do I want to go there? How am I even going to get there?

The one thing we all have to offer God is our life at its deepest level, how we use our thoughts and attitudes, how we spend our time and who we spend it with. All the rest God has already given us. Vocare is a weekend to help ourselves and even more importantly, to help each other, to hear and follow whatever calling God has made to use through Jesus Christ.

As Annie Dillard once said, “How we spend our days is how we spend our lives.” So spend some days in peace, and join so many new friends at Camp McDowell in march for Vocare. You will be so happy you did.
